In
connection with the recent developments in Egypt (the Youth
Revolution, Jan 25th to Feb 11th) the Commercial Office of the
Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt has the pleasure to furnish
you with a statement of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of
Egypt, as well as with a statement of the
Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
Confidence is expressed, that Egypt is back to business as usual,
including that Egyptian vibrant businesses and the Egyptian economic
infrastructure are back to normal inclusive ports, airports,
customs, transport and logistics, and naturally banks that are
governed by a solid central bank that unconditionally guarantees the
commitments of all Egyptian based local and foreign banks.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry has assured its commitment to an
open economy policy and supportive measure for private sector. It
has also stated that all agreements whether trade related or
contracted with local and international parties will be respected an
honoured diligently by the private and public sectors. |

The Federation of
Egyptian Chambers of Commerce assume all contracting parties with
any of its 4 million members, the traders, manufactures and services
providers of Egypt, of the commitment, whether exporting, importing
or subcontracting to and with any third party worldwide, according
to the agreed upon delivery schedules, quantities and renown
Egyptian quality.
