Farewell words from our President

Dear Members of CASCI, Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Your Excellencies,

After 10 years as President of the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CASCI), I have decided to step down to devote my time to other projects and to make way for new talents at the head of CASCI. I will leave the CASCI Board on 15 October 2023, along with the following Swiss members of the Board, whom I wish to thank here from the bottom of my heart for their outstanding support, their loyalty to me and to CASCI, their vision and their professionalism:

Mr Nasri Malhamé, Swiss Vice-President of CASCI, Chairman of AB Fund managers (Guernesey), Ubhar Capital (Oman), Oman Arab Bank (Oman) and GIMS SA (Geneva)

Mr Philippe Richard, Treasurer of CASCI, Executive Director at UBS Switzerland AG, 

Mr Vincent Subilia, Director of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services,

Mr Jean-Daniel Pasche, President of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry,

and

Mr Jan Atteslander, member of the Executive Board of Economiesuisse.

They all join me in wishing CASCI and its members a prosperous and fruitful continuation as well as fascinating business opportunities and challenges.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all CASCI’s members and partners for the confidence they have placed in me over the past ten years and for the wonderful journey they have enabled me to share with them.
