With the active support of the diplomatic and economic circles of all concerned countries , the Chamber was created by a group of dynamic personalities of the Arab-Swiss business world, among whom Mr. Elias Attia, who was its Secretary General until 2009. The presidency was first held by Mr. Werner Oberli, from Novartis, from 1974 to 2013, then the position was taken over by our current president, Mr. Jean-Paul Vulliety, in May 2013.He is assisted by Mr. Bahaa El Attar, Secretary General since 2009, who will soon hand over the torch to his successor.
