Bahraini authorities have ended restrictions on entry into Bahrain as of February 20, 2022. However, some airlines may still require a negative PCR test for boarding. It is therefore advisable to check with the airline in advance.
It is recommended to install the application “BeAwareBahrain” before departure, in order to have your European vaccination certificates recognized.
Since March 29, 2022, wearing a mask is no longer mandatory, neither in public places nor outside.

Vaccinated persons: the RT-PCR test is no longer mandatory.
Non-vaccinated persons: the presentation of a proof of a negative RT-PCR test of less than 72 hours is mandatory.
– Exit from the territory:
For vaccinated persons: the RT-PCR test is no longer mandatory provided the destination country does not require it as a travel health document.
For non-vaccinated persons: presentation of a negative RT-PCR test less than 72 hours old is required as a travel health document, regardless of the destination.
– In country, barrier measures :
Wearing a mask is mandatory: During gatherings in closed places, in pharmacies and medical laboratories, in check-in rooms and waiting rooms of ports and airports.

Djibouti
Covid Information
Travelers to and from Djibouti who are older than 11 years of age must have a negative PCR test that is less than 72 hours old.
Testing is mandatory regardless of vaccination status. A new test is mandatory upon arrival at the airport (25 euros).
Any traveler who enters Djibouti and presents a positive test will be put in isolation for 10 days. Foreign travelers will be accommodated in a hotel at their own expense.
Upon arrival in Djibouti, any traveler who has not been vaccinated and who tests negative will be subject to a mandatory quarantine at home. The duration of the quarantine is not specified at this stage. as possible.

The vaccination schedule is considered complete if the last dose was given more than 14 days ago and the booster dose was given less than 6 months ago.

Mauritania
Covid Information
Since April 26, 2022
Vaccinated persons: Presentation of proof of complete vaccination, at least two doses (at least 2 weeks old for the last one).
Non-vaccinated or incompletely vaccinated persons: proof of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old is required.
Upon arrival: non-contact temperature test (thermal camera or thermo flash).
Foreign passengers arriving without a COVID-19 RT-PCR test and a vaccination certificate are not allowed to enter Mauritania.
If signs of COVID-19 are present on arrival, the traveler will be treated according to local health protocol and a standard diagnostic test (RT-PCR) will be performed:
The traveler with a positive test will observe a controlled quarantine of 10 days, in a place at his expense. His care and follow-up will be provided free of charge by the services of the Mauritanian Ministry of Health. A control RT-PCR test will be performed on the 10th day before leaving the quarantine.
The traveler with a negative test is committed to self-containment for 10 days.

1. Negative PCR or antigenic tests are no longer required for entry into Saudi Arabia, except for specific restrictions related to the pilgrimage (see news section).
2. All travelers over 12 years of age must have a complete vaccination schedule and be able to present a certificate of vaccination. Vaccination must have been done with one of the vaccines recognized by Saudi Arabia, namely:
Two doses of Pfizer BioNTech or Comirnaty or Oxford AstraZeneca or Covishield or SK Bioscience or Vaxzevria or Moderna or Spikevax or Sputnik V or Covaxin or Covavax
Or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson (or Janssen)
Travelers should receive a booster dose no later than 8 months after the second injection to have a complete vaccination schedule.
Note: Cure of COVID 19 does not exempt cured travelers from justifying the complete vaccination schedule described above.
Vaccination certificates must be registered within 72 hours before arrival in Saudi Arabia. It is imperative to present a certificate of vaccination, translated into English or Arabic, For the non-residents – click here –
All travelers with short-stay visas must have medical insurance to cover COVID-19-related medical expenses and be able to present it upon arrival.

– a certificate of negative PCR test, valid for 72 hours from the date of sample collection, issued by a laboratory approved by the authorities of the country of origin and written in Arabic or English;

– unvaccinated or with an incomplete vaccination schedule:
present a negative Covid-19 PCR test, bearing a QR code, performed less than 48 hours before the first boarding or a negative antigenic test (TDR-Ag), bearing a QR code, performed less than 24 hours before the first boarding (self-tests are not recognized) ;

The following rules apply at the airport of departure for all international travellers to the UAE:
- Those who are vaccinated against COVID-19, must present the vaccination certificate containing a QR code. They are not required to present a negative result of RT-PCR test for COVID-19 at the airport of departure.
- Those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19, can either present a valid, negative result of an RT-PCR test conducted within 48 hours before arrival, or present a recovery certificate (containing a QR code) from COVID-19 issued within 30 days before departure, if they were previously infected with the virus.
